Eric García, the FC Barcelona player, unexpectedly paid the players in the Barcelona Soccer Experience a visit after a training session at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
The 20-year-old center-back spoke briefly with the kids and posed for pictures with them while also encouraging them to keep playing and practicing hard to get better every day. The young American athletes were surprised and overjoyed to see the FC Barcelona legend!
Eric García also attended Barça schools and his career path serves as an example for younger generations that want to play professional soccer.
The encounter took place during a Barcelona Soccer Experience training session, an initiative created by ISL Experience.
This program gives American players and their families a special and one-of-a-kind opportunity to play soccer in Barcelona, where they compete against other Spanish teams while training with Barça Academy coaches.
