The COVID-19 pandemic brought travel and even sports around the world to an abrupt halt in 2020. We are happy to announce that after a two-year break, ISL finally resumes its activities in England, the home of football.
“The UK’s program offers different activities and experiences to our programs in Spain. We’ve had 6 events during the peak of the Omicron variant and even though it wasn’t easy, thanks to the great work of our team everything turned out better than expected” – said Achille Obougou, Director of ISL’s Travel Management.
Now, players and their families will travel with ISL as it makes its way back to the United Kingdom for an amazing nine-day trip in Manchester and London.
The athletes will practice at Manchester City’s facilities under the direction of the club’s authorized coaches and take part in friendly matches against other clubs. They will also spend a day practicing at West Ham’s practice facilities.
Not everything is about work, though. Players and families will be able to enjoy these two soccer-crazy cities through outdoor and cultural activities. We have lots of fun surprises in store for our guests!
In this unique experience, the visiting party will enjoy private tours of Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford and two Premier League games: The world champions Chelsea’s match against Crystal Palace on Saturday and Manchester United’s match against Watford the following weekend.
ISL has 20 sporting events scheduled across 5 different venues for this season. On that note, our team has been working hard to provide the best travel experiences, always putting the safety of the players and their families first.
Stay tuned for more information about our soccer experiences! @team_isl
